Help Ahmed Feed and Shelter His Family in Gaza
United States
My name is Ana, and I’m organising this campaign on behalf of Ahmed and his family, who are fighting every day just to survive.
Ahmed, his wife Salma, their five children — Mohammad (13), Suad (10), Mahmoud (7), Zynab (7), Yazen (3) — and their nephew once lived in Khan Younis. Before the genocide began, Ahmed worked proudly as a farmer, working hard to provide for his family. Since the war started, they have been displaced about 15 times, losing their home, land, and livelihood.
They now live in a fragile tent made from tarpaulin and blankets, with no access to water, sanitation, or electricity. Every day, Ahmed walks long distances to try to find water and food for his family, despite the dangers. Aid points are death sites — Ahmed was recently injured after being shot at while trying to collect supplies
Essentials are extremely scarce and sold at extortionate prices: a bag of flour costs around $300 USD, sugar $150 USD, and a gallon of water costs $3USD; and commissions for transferring money can be as high as 50%.
With no source of income, every single donation is a lifeline. Your support will help Ahmed buy food, water, and basic essentials to keep his family alive through this unimaginable crisis. Every donation is more than aid – it is love, dignity and the chance for him and his family to live with hope instead of hunger.
Please donate what you can and share widely. Every act of solidarity brings Ahmed’s family one step closer to survival.
This is a message from Ahmed:
Yesterday I was able to buy flour, cheese, canned fish, canned meat, onions, potatoes, eggplant, peppers, sugar, chickpeas, firewood, Maggi and some olive oil. This all came to $400, including a 40% commission. This will last us about 5 days, as I often support my brother’s family and my sister, who is sick and needs food and medicine.
Thanks to your generosity, my children no longer go as hungry as before — your donations are making a real difference in our daily lives. Because of this, I haven’t had to go to the deathly “aid” sites in a while now. I am deeply grateful for every bit of support.
If you are able, please continue to help us by donating, engaging with my tiktok and instagram pages, and sharing with your friends and family. Each contribution gives us a little more relief and hope.
This week, thanks to your generosity, Ahmed and his family were able to buy a little more food — some vegetables, canned meat, cheese, flour — and even firewood and a lighter. These may sound like small things, but in Gaza right now they are precious, expensive, and life-saving.
At the same time, the situation around them is worsening. Israel has intensified its attacks on Gaza City, forcing starving families to flee with nowhere safe to go. Plans to drive people south will make life even harsher, with prices rising beyond reach and survival becoming harder by the day.
Ahmed’s family, like so many others, is living under unimaginable pressure. Every donation is keeping them alive — every share brings in new hope. We urgently need your help more than ever. Please, if you can, donate again and ask your family and friends to do the same. Your support is making the difference between hunger and survival.
Last weekend, I was able to bring home some more food for my children – cheese, pasta, tomato paste, and dates. It may sound simple, but here these are luxuries we can rarely afford. Some prices have dropped a little, but many basics remain far beyond reach: cooking oil costs $80 USD, canned meat $30, a pack of dates $30, and even one small box of cheese is $10. On top of that, commissions for withdrawing money are still painfully high – anywhere between 45% and 50% – meaning much of your help is lost before it even reaches us.
Your kindness is what put these foods on our table. Without it, my children would have gone without. If you are able, please help us keep going – every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and a full stomach for my family.
